"To Robert B & Sherry re: Spiritual Temple vs physical"
I agree that the believers, ARE the Temple, the Body of Christ.
But,
the Jewish people do not. They are still waiting for the day when they
can rebuild. They have all the elements ready and waiting. They have
their Priests at the ready, tracing bloodlines and all. They have all
the architecture pieces built and awaiting the go ahead to erect the
physical building. They have all the necessary, as per Scripture pieces
to commence with daily sacrifices.
Just because we KNOW that
Christ 'finished' the job, and was the final sacrifice, it doesn't mean
that the Jewish people won't rebuild. I just don't know if or how their
construction could/would play out or weigh into the scheme of things.
If
they did rebuild (and some say it would only take a matter of a few
months to complete), wouldn't any sacrifice done there be an
'abomination'? It would at least be useless/unnecessary.
Might we all be gone by then? Or would them setting up the sacrifices somehow help trigger our departure?
hmmm?
Blessings~
