"To Beverly A re: Memories"
I am convinced that everything we
experience, be it sound, smell, taste, touch & sight is 'recorded'
in our brains. Even when we don't realize it. Even things we
experienced pre-birth are there, recorded in our minds...sounds,
feelings...the chemical changes that happened when our mother's were
startled, sad, happy. All of it. They say that we only use a small
percentage of our brains. I think that is because we were designed for
Eden! I therefore think, when we do get those glorified bodies...those
'superbodies'...then, yes, all the memories will be accessible. Now I
know everyone has things they'd rather forget, sadness, pain, grief,
trauma. BUT, I think that even if we are able to 'access' our minds,
and we did come across some horrific memory, I think our Love for the
Lord, our feelings of gladness and pure happiness of being in His
presence will totally overshadow anything negative.
Just my two cents.
Blessings~
