"To Patty re: New Bodies"
I turned 53 the other day, and someone
wrote "39 forever!" on my facebook page as a fun birthday wish. I
laughed and said, 'Oh please, never! Now 49, that would be okay'. I was
always the 'chubby' kid, when I was 'fit' was my Tomboy years. I have
often wondered just what my 'new body' would look/be like. I picture my
mom as she looked when she was about 25, my grandpa when he was about
40, but I see my grandma when she was in her teens! I wonder why?
My dad is also in his 20s in my minds' eye. I think, when we get those
new bodies, they will be the ones that we were meant to have...should
have had...if 'we'd' not lost the Garden.
And as for pix of me
now? I rarely let a photo of me be snapped. heh. If it is, I'm usually
in costume...since it's then that I feel more comfortable. *we do
historical reenacting, and my girls are into theater and such*
I'll
try to attach pix. *okay, if I did it correctly, the first one is me
dressed for the 1920s themed play my youngest was in, and the other was
in my English commoner garb at our game booth at faire, with my older
daughter's cat "Baby B".
Blessings~
