Interesting thought with regards to the rapture Barbara. None of us really knows how we will leave this planet
when raptured. I have always had the hunch we will simply go "poof" in the twinkling of an eye. Instantaneously we will be with
the Lord. But your observation of various scriptures of others "taken" certainly allow room for different views of what the
rapture
may actually look like. I guess in the end it really won't matter. We
will just be going along for the ride.Smile emoticon
I think as others have mentioned, God will be the one that sends a strong delusion. For reasons we do not fully
understand this side of eternity, this "delusion" is for a purpose. The countless TV shows and soon to be released
movies like Skyline, I believe, will play some role in explaining away the disappearance of millions. The human mind
has to reason this fact for it's sanity. There will be some "reasonable" explanation that most will buy into. At the
present, it seems likely that this UFO/ET visitation/abduction theory will be prominent. This "kettle" has been simmering
for decades. I don't think it will be too much of a stretch for people to believe we were abducted, especially if great
minds like Stephen Hawking give plausible cerebral explanations. We as true born again Christians will not be
deceived when the rapture happens, no matter what form it may take. However, nominal "Christians" in name
only
may very well be under the delusion. All the more reason to pray and
share now. Time is
short.
