"UFOs in Popular Music"

2 classic well-known songs in popular music talk about UFOs and I'm wondering if there is a connection with them as being a part of the "strong delusion" God will send to those who rejected Jesus.

1. Lawyers In Love, Jackson Browne: God sends his spaceships to America, the beautiful. They land at six o'clock and there we are, the dutiful. Eating from TV trays, tuned into to Happy Days, waiting for World War III while Jesus slaves to the mating calls of lawyers in love.

My personal feeling is that "lawyers in love" are those who love the "law" rather than grace, trying to earn their salvation rather than recognizing Christ's finished work on the cross.

2. Come Sail Away, Styx: A gathering of Angels appeared above my head
They sang to me this song of hope and this is what they said

They said, "Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me lads

Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me
Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me baby
Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me"

I thought that they were Angels, but to my surprise
We climbed aboard their starship
, we headed for the skies
