"Hey Paul, "natural teacher"!"

There are wonderful men who teach elementary school.  One of the best loved teachers at
my grandsons' school is the kindergarten man.  Having a good male role model in school
is great!  Once upon a time almost all teachers were male, back in colonial days in America.
It is definitely not a wimp's job.

I was a teacher in high school and college, and I substituted a bit in an elementary school.
I would never have been suited for teaching early elementary classes, as I did not have the
energy to deal with the "monsters", even the well-behaved monsters, for we all know how
restless and active kids are!   Some schools try to make them calm by giving them Ritalin,
it's so hard a job.   One reason so many parents home school is because it takes a lot of
energy to give individual attention to kids at elementary level.

I don't know if we'll be doing "jobs" in the Millennium, but maybe you will be an elementary
teacher then.  I can imagine a variety of jobs for me.  If I am a teacher I may be a dance or
music teacher, the true loves of my life, more "me" than the English teacher I was, although
I was grateful for the wonderful job I had at the community college and the good I could see
occurring in the lives of my students.

But in the Millennium maybe I will have a perfect singing voice, which I didn't have in this life,
to sing in choirs.  Who could tell!

But don't be depressed, as you say you are, about your unique identified skill.   That is certainly
not called for!
