Dear Doves,So many times I have read on this website the cries for help with problems in the lives of the readers. I have composed a few prayers in hopes they would be useful in relieving some of the suffering that we all must endure at times. Now, we are all waiting for the rapture and it can be a frustrating and long wait for those who long to escape this sometimes cruel and unregenerate world.Now I have found a wonderful resource that is totally free and always available. The following website contains the texts of many great Christian inspirational writings that can be of enduring assistance to all of us. The first link is to the home page of the site. The second link opens to the book The Christians Secret of a Happy Life by Hannah Whitall Smith, which I wrote about some time ago.This particular book has been a very helpful resource to me and I cannot recommend it enough. It starts with the key idea: there are two sides to spiritual development, our part and God's part. Our part is to trust and accept the Lord's will, and His role is to do the work that is needed for our development and happiness.Please have a look inside and when you read give the words time to sink in, remember these texts were written almost a hundred years ago when times were more leisurely and people had time to savor the wonders of life more than in our hectic age.
