"Re: Israel's Future Exile"

Israel's "future exile" is more accurately called "The wilderness refuge." It happens at the exact midpoint of Daniel's 70th week and lasts 3 1/2 years.  Here's how it happens:

The antichrist declares himself to be God in the temple one month before the mid point of the 70th week (Dan 12:11; Mt. 24:15).

When those who are in Judea see this they are to immediately flee to the mountains (Mt: 24:16).

Those who are fleeing are then supernaturally transported at the midpoint of the 70th week to the wilderness refuge where they are protected for 3 1/2 years.  Many speculate the wilderness refuge to be Petra.  Here are the verses from Revelation:

"Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that there she would be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days (3 1/2 years)." Rev 12:6

"But two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent."

The Jews who do not flee remain behind in Judea to later fight antichrist at what is commonly called the battle of Armageddon.

Very clear and simple.
