You know I was thinking this exact same thing! That this rescue is a type of the rapture and God always uses these type incidents to point to something happening in the spiritual world! They have been down in the heart of the earth (in total darkness encased in ROCK). They will be looking UP! They will be taken individually (One at a time) just as WE Will be called BY NAME individually up into the heavens at the rapture!  The whole world will rejoice at THEIR rescue. The whole world will be in confusion at OUR rescue, but WE WILL BE rejoicing!!!  They are being rescued "just in time!" Just as we will be taken up "just in time!" They will be encapsulated in total safety as they are "evacuated" just as we will be drawn up in total safety to our waiting Savior. They have had to have light provided to them and have been totally dependent on those "upstairs" to provide everything they need to keep them alive all this time!  We have the LIGHT of the Holy Spirit provided to us and WE are dependent every single day on the guidance of the Holy Spirit to give us everything we need to keep us ALIVE all this time from the GOD who rules "upstairs" in the heavens! They will have to wear sunglasses to keep the sun from damaging their eyes until they re-adjust to the light! We will see the Son of God in all HIS blazing glory and we will have TRANSLATED bodies, so we will have no need of "sunglasses" to shield our eyes from the brilliant beauty of the King in His Beauty when we finally SEE him for the first time!!!! I am sure there is MORE to this than the simple type. All those number crunchers out there on this site ---can probably "see" a lot more to this than me!
