Comment:
Let's see....
The US Stock Market is UP (OR...in a trading range still..+/- 1000 points so far this year!)
The US Dollar is dropping, vis-a-vis the Euro and the Yen
Gold is UP

NO Bank Holidays....thus, NO banking panic.....that was late 2008 and early 2009.....THAT was when there was talk of nationalizing the banks...yes, it did look possible then.....

Interest rates still LOW.....no inflation panic..

And......all of the "claims of financial armageddon" have not come true this year...

And now, this article......(above)

I had been seeing this slowdown in the number of failures in the last few months...and the smaller size of the bank failures all year long, compared to 2009.... all of which is GOOD for the economy. (Good is Relative though, I know...)

As I've said, and continue to say.....NO TOTAL FINANCIAL COLLAPSE until the Rapture..........but there is, and will continue to be ALOT of financial PAIN out there......

YFIC,
Randy

PS....the current strength of the US stock market suprises me....but I am more optimistic NOW, than I have been in 18 months.  I beleive the market (as a forward - looking indicator),..is already assuming a Republican big win in the elections, and a continutation of tax benefits from the Bush years.  We shall see......
