On 14th October the 19th Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Delhi, India handed over to the next hosts

in Bonnie Scotland, Glasgow in 2014. Glasgow is on the river Clyde which I sailed down once a long time ago.

 

I didn't see all the ceremony but they had a Scottish piper lifted up on a white rectangular platform by 4 people and

at one point they said he was going into a labyrinth.

The official logo for the 2014 Commonwealth Games was unveiled on Commonwealth Day, 8 March 2010.^[36] It was

inspired by three factors, time, data and measurement. With Macintosh undertones, its rings are proportioned to

represent the 20th Commonwealth Games, across 17 sports, over 11 days in 1 city.
