AMEN!!! I could not agree with you more.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I keep pulling the hair out of my head as I see such so radical misuse of exegesis, hermenuetics and the like.
 
The 70th week is just that, another full set of 7 years for the Jews, not for the Body of Christ.  I hope you also "tackle" the "doctrine" of the Body of Christ as I also see the teaching here about severing the Body of Christ from those believers who are looking for His return as being called the "Bride of Christ" and the only ones allowed to go up in the Rapture.
 
In regards to this "doctrine" I do not know how it is that this kind of teaching has crept back in.  If we are sealed unto the day of Redemption for all those who are truly "born from above" and that no one can snatch us out of the Father's hand, it's as if this kind of doctrine is akin to losing one's salvation and recapturing it going into the tribulation.
 
And, what really scares me is those that tell us to abandon what was historically taught to come up with this new teaching.  And, this "new" teaching doesn't fit in any historical, critical, Evangalical thought, ie; Premillenial, Amillenial, and Postmillenial viewpoints.  I believe that even the Preterist would scratch their heads.  It's as if there is a blending of the different schools of thought and random thinking.
 
I was completely blown away with the thought that the Antichrist would stand in the middle of true Christians and that we are the 3rd Temple spoken of in Ezekiel and that we are the ones fleeing. To the Sierra Nevada mountains? Or into the jungles of Africa??
Or will all believers somehow end up in Jerusalem and run off leaving the Jews behind to go to Petra.  MY MY MY.
 
Please continue preaching and teaching.  It is much needed!!!
