RE: Bruce Warner: The Day of
God's Wrath
Hi:

right here on earth during the first-half of the '70th Week of Daniel', but the
Church will be raptured BEFORE THE WRATH OF GOD BEGINS DURING THE SECOND-HALF OF
THE 70th WEEK OF DANIEL' CALLED "GREAT TRIBULATION" IN Matthew 24.
YBIC,
Bruce Warner
Here is the way I see
it. God's Wrath is a one-day strike, not the last half of the 7-year
Tribulation.
The DAY of God's Wrath
is one literal day, even though it is Jesus' Long Day, because the Earth will be
turned upside down when the 2 asteroids of Rev. 8:8-11 impact Earth. It
will right itself, but every wall will fall in the worldwide earthquake. The
cities will be in shambles.
The mountain-sized piece
of asteroid will hit the Mediterranean Sea leaving only 1/6th of Gog's army
alive to flee to Siberia. There will be an overflowing shower, i.e., a tsunami.
The aster (star, meteorite or asteroid) will obliterate Babylon in the land of
Shinar and open the Lake of Fire.
From the Hebrew, Jesus'
name is Joshua, and Joshua's Long Day was a type of Jesus' Long Day.
Isa 24:1 says, "Behold, the LORD
maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants
thereof."
I think there will be two Raptures before the Wrath of God
hits Earth on the LAST DAY of the Tribulation, the DAY of God's Wrath,
the Day of the Lord, the first day of Christ's millennial kingdom. Like Solomon,
he will purge his kingdom at the outset.
The first Rapture is seen in Rev. 4:1's "Come up
hither." The second is seen in Rev. 6:17, 7:9,14 and 14:3-5.
Rev 6:17 says,
"For the great DAY of his wrath (i.e., Jesus'
Long Day) is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
Rev
7:9,14 says, "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great
multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people,
and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white
robes, and palms in their hands...These
are they which came out of GREAT TRIBULATION, and have washed their robes, and
made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
Zec 14:1-3 says, "Behold,
the DAY of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of
thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to
battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women
ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of
the people shall not be cut off from the city. THEN shall
the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day
of battle" (i.e., on Joshua's Long Day).
What did he do on Joshua's Long Day? He threw
down rocks and killed more than the Israelites did. That is what he is going to
do on the Day of God's Wrath. He will throw down the two asteroids of Rev.
8:8-11 at noon. That will stop Gog's army. Only 1/6th will survive to flee to
Siberia. All that happens on one day, the Day of God's Wrath, the 1st day of
Christ's 1000-year rule.
The Day of God's Wrath is like no other day
-- ever. You can be sure of that from Jer 30:7. It says, "Alas! for
that DAY is great, so that NONE IS LIKE
IT: it is even the time of
Jacob's trouble; but he
shall be saved out of it."
Of that day, Dan
12:1-3 says, "And at that time (when the False
Prophet shall be deposed; Dan. 11:45) shall Michael stand up, the great
prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time
of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every
one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the
earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall
shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to
righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."
