I too strongly agree with some that the USA is the endtime Babylon. I've been reading Harvey Troyer's posts, as well as others, like Ron Reese & B. G. Ellis to name a couple. Very interesting to say the least.

 

I want to add support to what H. Troyer has been posting from various scriptures in Isaiah and other books of prophecy in the old testament. I will focus on Ezekiel 26-28. I believe these chapters are referring directly to the USA and it even points out that the leader of this country has exalted himself above God, aka, antichrist.

 

Ezekiel 26:2  Son of man, because that Tyrus (USA?) hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people; she is turned unto me (USA?): I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:  3  Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.

 

Any of this sound familiar or plausible?

 

26:13  And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard. (Is this New York City?)

 

26:17  And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city (NYC?), which was strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it! (Sounds like USA to me)

 

27:3  And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord God; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.  4  Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

 

Now I will conclude with several key verses from chapter 28; this is where it gets real interesting:

 

28:2  Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord God; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

 

28:7  Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

 

28:14  Thou art the anointed cherub (USA?) that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  15  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  16  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  17  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty,................

 

28:18  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

 

I believe that this lines up and supports what H. Troyer has been posting regarding Desert Storm III and what will happen to the USA. To me the timing of this event seems to be after Jerusalem is broken and called for help from the US and of course, we don't help. Big Mistake!

 

The Lord told me in early 2009 that the next big events would be ECONOMIC COLLAPSE and then RAPTURE. Oh, how close we are to economic collapse globally. Where the above scenario fits in, I don't know. Maybe it is after the rapture or maybe it is concurrent with the rapture. Any thoughts or comments are of course welcome.
