"You also mention in your other post with regard to the abomination to
be
set up at the end of the tribulation and 30 days after that. I
think
that most Bible students on the end times would disagree with you
on
that one, because I think that will occurr 30 days inside the
great
tribulation period."
No, I didn't say
that. Daniel TELLS US exactly WHEN it will be set up.
Dan 12:11 says :
"And from the time that the continual burnt-offering shall
be taken away, and to the giving of the abomination of desolation shall be 1,290
days"
Now when is the "continual burnt-offering ... taken
away"? Half way into the 7 year period of Daniel 9, for we're
told....
And he
shall confirm a covenant with many for one "Seven"; and half[way] of the
"Seven" he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to
cease
(Dan 9:27)
This is
why , when you just read the scriptures for what they say, there's no way the 7
year period of Daniel 9 can be the whole sum of the trib period because you've
got an event happening 30 days AFTER it is over with. That is as plain as
the ink on the pages. But some people have been told that the trib period
is 7 years over and over and over again that they simply believe the tradition
over what the plain language of scripture says, and despite how plain the
Scriptures are worded on this, they dismiss what the Scirptures are saying
because it disagrees with their pre-conceived notions too
badly.
