Ron has claimed that the "7-tear trib"
period began in October 2008. Let me show why this can't be by
showing the logical inconsistency. If that were true, we'd be 2 years into
the 7 year period, and as of today, we still don't have the two witnesses
mentioned in Rev 11 which really kills that timing !!!!!! I put that in
quotes because the tribulation period will last longer than 7
years.
Rev 8:13 announces 3 Woes that will follow the
tribulations that occur in Rev 4-8. We're also told they will happen in
sequence.
Woe #1 = Trumpet #5:
Rev 9:10 lists beasts "like scorpions" that will torture
for 5 months. That hasn't happened yet.
Then Rev 9:12 says "One
woe is past; behold, there come two woes more
hereafter." Note how this is
telling us the 3 Woes MUST COME IN SEQUENCE!!!!!!!
Woe #2 = Trumpet #6:
Rev 9:13 : 1/3 of mankind destroyed.
Rev 10: The 7 thunders.
Rev 11: The 2 witnesses for 3.5 years.
The rise from the dead after 3.5 years.
Rev 11:14 says "The
second woe is past; behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
"
Woe #3 = Trumpet #7:
Rev 12-17 discusses the final 42 months before
the return of the Messiah.
Note That
- Woe #1 lasts 5 months or more. It hasn't happened
yet.
- Woe #2 lasts 3.5 years plus 3.5 days plus however long it
takes to kill off one third of the planet, which is probably better than a
week I'm guessing. So dating this as "Over 43 months" is no
stretch.
- Woe #3: 42 months.
Add this up the 3 Woes are MORE THAN 5 + 43
+ 42 = 90 months. that's more than 7 years (84 months). And 90
months is just a minimum.
First off, stop trying to put the whole trib
period into a 7year box and the timing of Revelation will start to make a lot of
sense. We're told explicitely that these 3 WOE periods DO NOT
overlap. One comes after the other. And they add up to more than 7
years. We're not sure how much more, but it's more than 7 years.
Yeshua cannot return to earth in 2015,
because there's at least 90 months of prophecy prior to His return that has not
yet been fullfilled.
