"BIBLICAL BEGINNING OF MONTHS"

BIBLICAL BEGINNING OF MONTHS

NISSAN or TISHRI

The Bible seems to exclusively refer to the Jewish Biblical Calendar begining with Nisan when it makes references to dates.  Gen 7:11 NKJV - In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. It would seem the second month would be a reference to the Biblical calendar and the month of Lyar. To further back this up the Feast of Trumpets (Tishri 1 first day of the first month on the Jewish Secular calendar) and Yom Kippur are mentioned as the 7th month (not the first) in the Bible ( Lev 23:24 KJV - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first [day] of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Lev 23:27 KJV - Also on the tenth [day] of this seventh month [there shall be] a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.)

These verses in Matthew seem to further back this up,

Mat 24:31 NKJV - "And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mat 24:32 NKJV - "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

Mat 24:33 NKJV - "So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near at the doors!

Mat 24:34 NKJV - "Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

Mat 24:35 NKJV - "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Mat 24:36 NKJV - "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

Mat 24:37 NKJV - "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Mat 24:38 NKJV - "For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,

Mat 24:39 NKJV - "and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Mat 24:40 NKJV - "Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.

Mat 24:41 NKJV - "Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.

Mat 24:42 NKJV - "Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

Mat 24:43 NKJV - "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

Mat 24:44 NKJV - "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Mat 24:45 NKJV - "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

Mat 24:46 NKJV - "Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

These highlighted verses in Matt 24 seem to support Lyar (spring) as the month Noah entered the Arc and the possible time of the rapture. Most weddings occur in spring or summer, the fig tree puts forth its leaves in spring, most work in the field is done in the spring and summer, and grinding at the mill takes place after the spring harvest.  Cheshvan is indeed the second month on the secular calendar but the reference in Genesis 7:11 I believe refers to the Biblical calendar which would be Lyar 17. Lyar 10 (May 14, 2011) and Lyar 17 (May 21, 2011) both fall on Shabbat with Lyar 10 also being the 25th day of the counting of the Omer and Lyar 17 being the 32nd. Mat 24:20 NKJV - "And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. I am not trying to set dated but merely be watchful of potential dates and times. If not on these dates, there are three significant dates that occur, May 29th the 40th day of the Omer (when Jesus ascended into heaven, Act 1:11 NKJV - who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."), June 3rd the 45th day of the Omer and new moon (The Trumpet is blown every new moon), and June 8th Pentecost the anniversary of the Holy Spirit being given seems a fitting time for the Church and the Holy Spirit to be removed.

The Torah reading for the 10th is B'har ("On the mount") Lev 25:1 - 26:2 (Lev 25:9,Could 9/23/2015 be the day Jesus' feet land on the Mount of Olives?), Halftarah: Jer 32:6-27, and the suggested NT Luke 4:16. The Torah readings for the 17th is B'chukotai ("In my statutes") Lev 26:3 - 27:34 and the NT is 2 Cor 6:14-18 are possibly significant.

Also according to Rev 20:7 the Gog Magog battle of Ezekiel 37 &38 takes place after the Millennial rein of Christ so the battle about to take place would have to be a different one. Right? Possibly the one mentioned in Psalm 83? And the battle of Armageddon taking place at the end of the tribulation with Jesus interceding at the Mount of Olives to prevent the destruction of all flesh.

The Bible seems to exclusively refer to the Jewish Biblical Calendar (Nisan-Adar or Adar2) when it makes references to dates.  Gen 7:11 NKJV - In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.  Although we wont know the hour These highlighted verses in Matt 24 seem to support Spring as the season and Lyar as the month Noah entered the Arc and the possible time of the rapture.
