When the world is shaken by natural disasters

 A cure for cancer yet to be discovered

Aids lurking on our doorsteps like a hungry lion his prey

Remember one thing,

We live by faith and not by sight

Tsunami wave kills thousands

War destroys innocent children in crossfire

Terror attacks on the innocent and unaware

Remember one thing,

We live by faith and not by sight.

 

Poverty is in the eyes of the hungry faces

People dying every day, no one cares

Newspaper headlines read Politics

When will it ever read Poverty?

Hungry people crying alone, do we hear them?
