following excerpt starts from page 22 of my Emmaus Road Ministries Newsletter

of Isaiah Chapter
18 describe for you why this chapter is a prophecy about the
America. It is unmistakable.

ISAIAH 18:1-7 (USA IN PROPHECY)
(The
Scofield Reference Bible inserts this comment at the head of this chapter.
“The woe of the
land beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, in the day of the regathering of
Israel. Israel declared
its independence on May 14, 1948 and was recognized by the United Nations 1 year
later May 14, 1949.)
(The
NIV Study Bible inserts at the head of this chapter:
A PROPHECY AGAINST CUSH. (Cush was the
father of Nimrod, Who became a mighty hunter before (or against) the Lord, a
“Mighty One”, a giant, one of the nephilim or gibborim; and, he was the first to
build Babylon as a center of his kingdom (Gen 10:8-10). Ocultists believe that Cush (or Hermes)
was the father of this idolatrous Babylonian ruler-god, Nimrod. New age teacher H.P. Blavatsky, founder
of Theosophy, identified the Maitreya “Christ”—New Age Messiah to be the same
figure as this Cush).
(Also,
“AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL” has been encoded and repeated in the 7 verses of
Isaiah Chapter
18 in ELS (Equal Letter Sequence) in the original Hebrew Text,
according to Yacov Rambsel, Jewish Rabbi, who pioneered the discovery of ELS
Bible Codes in the Hebrew Texts. This
is irrefutable proof that Isaiah Chapter 18 is addressed to America!
Isaiah
18:1
(NIV) Woe
to the land of whirring wings
(or
shadowing with wings)
beyond
the rivers of Cush,
(The
emblem of the United
States is the bald eagle with extended
“shadowing wings”. Also, the
United
States is all about airplanes “whirring wings”
from the Wright Brothers, who invented the airplane, to the terrorist tragedy of
9/11 when jet planes were crashed into the World Trade
Center Towers in New York City. Since
all Bible geography is referred to in relation to the promised land of Israel,
this is depicting a message of “woe” to a far country which is “beyond...Ethiopia” and which
is overseas from the land of Israel. This alone
eliminates all nations of Europe, Asia, and Africa, for any of these could be
reached by way of land routes from the land of Israel. “The nation,” therefore, to whom this
message is addressed is to be “a land shadowing (whirring) with wings” which is
beyond the land routes and which “sendeth ambassadors by the sea.
The
United
States has been notably a free country sending
many ambassadors to virtually every country in the world, ever seeking to
negotiate and to communicate officially through the ambassadors of our State
Department. This is another
confirmation. Jer
50:12 states: Your mother shall be sore confounded;
she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost (or youngest) of
the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert. Having
England for a mother since July 4, 1776, the USA is certainly one of the youngest
nations. Is
it not PROPHETICALLY STRANGE that
Mr Tony Blair of England is George W. Bush’s closest Ally in the new War
on Terrorism and Iraq. Jer
51:23 states: How broken and
shattered is the hammer of the whole earth! How desolate is Babylon among the
nations! Jer 51:44 states...The nations will
no longer stream to him. And
the wall of Babylon will fall. With the
United Nations headquarters in New York City, all the nations of the world do
STREAM
TO UNCLE SAM.)
Isaiah
18:2a
Which sends envoys by sea (even) in papyrus boats over the
water.
(Please
remember that from the earliest history of America, we traded with, fought with,
and made treaties with, the native American Indian nations, who in turn sent
their ambassadors by sea (inland rivers and lakes) to our capitol city of
Washington D.C. Scholars agree that
the plant called “bulrush” in many English versions of the Bible is the
Papyrus. The stem of this tall
reed-like plant was used in making sea-going boats, not unlike the canoes and
boats built and used by the native American Indians and Colonial Americans. The Septuagint quotes verse 18:2 as
follows: “He sends messengers by sea, and paper letters on the water”.)
Isaiah
18:2b Go, swift messengers, to a people tall
and smooth skinned, to a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of
strange speech, whose land is divided by
rivers.
(I
believe that the swift messengers are the Holy Angels that the Son of Man will
send out at the end of the age.)
The
KJV of Isa 18:2 reads: ...a people terrible
from their beginning hitherto...From
the signing for the declaration of Independence in 1776 until the present date,
the United
States has never lost a declared war. It proclaimed its independence from
England and then defeated that country in the Revolutionary War. One
of its early flags bore the ensign “Don’t Tread On Me” and
this nation has never been subject to any other nation from that day to
this. It
is, indeed, “a nation terrible (tenacious) from its beginning
hitherto.”)
Isaiah
18:3 All you people of the world, you who
live on the earth, when a banner (flag) is raised on the mountains, you will
see it, and when a trumpet sounds, you will hear it.
(Isa 13:2 New Living
Translation: See the flags
waving as the enemy attacks.
Cheer them on, O Israel!
Wave to them as they march against Babylon to destroy the palaces of the
high and mighty. I, the LORD, have
assigned this task to these armies, and they will rejoice when I am exalted.
I have called them to satisfy my
anger. (Have you noticed all the flags waving
in America since 9/11?) Read
all of Isaiah Chapter
13. You
will see nuclear war coming.
Verse
19 states: Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory
of the Babylonians’ pride, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and
Gomorrah.)
Isaiah
18:4 This is what the LORD says to me:
“I
will remain quiet and will look on from my dwelling place, like shimmering heat
in the sunshine, like
a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” (The
Septuagint quotes verse 18:4 as follows: “For thus says the Lord to me, there
shall be security in my city
(Jerusalem),
as the light of noon-day heat, and it shall be as a cloud of dew in the day of
harvest”. Please notice that this great preemptive destruction of
Endtime Babylon/America is about the security of Jerusalem!!!)
Isaiah
18:5
For before the harvest, when the blossom is gone
and
the flower becomes a ripening grape,
He will cut off
the shoots with pruning knives, and cut down and take away the spreading
branches.
(Please notice that the great
judgment and destruction come on Endtime Babylon/America before the
harvest. The “harvest” is the
end of the age, e.g., the 7-Year Great Tribulation Period. Since
the Rapture is clearly described in Isaiah 18:7, this is absolute proof that the
rapture is Pre-Tribulation!

Isaiah
18:6 They will all be left to the mountain
birds of prey and to the wild animals; the birds will feed on them all
summer, the wild animals all winter.
Isaiah
18:7 At that
time gifts will be brought to the LORD Almighty from
a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an
aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers—the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the
Name of the LORD. (Remember the great
old Hymn “We’re marching to
Zion—The Beautiful City of God”!
Also, in this verse Isa 18:7 the Septuagint
says:…“the Mount
Sion”.)(Purple signifies the
Rapture).
[What
are the gifts mentioned here? I
believe that the gifts mentioned here are the most valuable and precious
treasures that God has on planet Earth, his saints (the bride of Christ). Jesus is the bridegroom. His
father will say to him, Son, go and get your bride and bring her (the resurrected and raptured saints)
to the great marriage supper of the Lamb. Rev
18:4 ...”Come out of her, my
people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any
of her plagues. Jer
51:45 ...”Come out” of her, my people! Run for your lives! Run from the fierce anger of the
Lord. Rev 19:7...For the wedding of the lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.

Fine linen, bright and clean, was given
her to wear. (Fine linen stands
for the righteous acts of the saints.)

9) Then the angel
said to me, “Write: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of
the Lamb!” And he added,
“These are the true words of God.”]
