Wow, never would have realized how the important concept of play shapes human beings.
 
The devil knows how our brains our wired and through the years has introduced material items and cultural expectations to warp how God intended us to grow and mature. Just another tool used by the enemy to deteriorate our unsuspecting society.
 
In nursing school ,way back when (1983) ,we learned that play is the work of a child. Guess our "modern" society has messed it all up and children aren't learning the important cognitive functions through the "work" of play anymore. This doesn't even address the use of electronics that are fast becoming the "toy of choice" for many children.
 
Besides leading to violence and obesity and a lowered level of human interaction; I'm sure that video games and such are really restricting healthy emotional growth.
 
If satan can make us unhealthy emotionally, we are easier prey for him to attack spiritually!
