"REBUILT TEMPLE -- TRIBULATION TEMPLE?"

In reply to the 10/05 post at http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/oct2010/sherryv105.htm about the belief that the daily sacrifice is taken away when the Antichrist kills believers since they are living sacrifices that offer up prayers to the Lord, the daily prayers of one believer would be taken away every time a saint was killed for not worshipping the beast and his image.  But just like the Jewish people who believed that their daily sacrifice of animals for their sins wasn't taken away until 70 A.D. when all animal sacrifice ended, the Christians will be sacrificing their lives on a daily basis right up until the last saint is martyred because they love not their lives until death and they love their Lord more and choose to keep His commandment of not worshipping another god and his image nor taking his mark.  So I don't see how the Antichrist could take away the daily sacrifice because the saints will be the ones sacrificing their lives through the 42 month reign of the Antichrist, and the living saints until the day they die will be offering up their prayers to the Lord.  Unless the Antichrist killed them all in one day, the prayers of the living saints will go on even if their martyred brethren's prayers have ceased.

Also in the verse in 2 Thess. 2:4 in regards to the son of perdition where it says "so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God showing himself that he is God," if he doesn't do this on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem which is considered a holy place by Jews, Muslims and Christians alike where the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob was worshipped for centuries and where animal sacrifices were made to God for the sins of the people on a daily basis, how would the Antichrist show himself that he is God by sitting amongst a bunch of Christians who the Bible says is the temple of God.  Only Christians believe that they are the temple of God.  That verse doesn't say that he wants to show others that he is God; it says that he as God sitteth in the temple of God showing HIMSELF that he is God because God's presence came down on the mercy seat inside the Holy of Holies inside the Temple in Jerusalem.  Where God's presence was, the Antichrist wants to sit so that he can show himself that he is God.

What I also don't understand is if there isn't going to be a temple of God in Jerusalem for the wicked Son of Perdition (Antichrist) to sit in "so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God showing himself that he is God," then why did our Lord Jesus warn us about the abomination of desolation that would stand in the holy place spoken of by Daniel the prophet according the Bible verses below in which the Lord specifically points out for the people in Judaea to flee when they see the abomination of desolation stand in the holy place, and then there would be great tribulation such as never been since the beginning of the world.  The city of Jerusalem was located in the province of Judaea so I can understand the Lord telling the people of Judaea to flee into the mountains when the abomination of desolation stood in the holy place in Jerusalem because the abomination of desolation would then be close by.

Matthew 24:15-24, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here [is] Christ, or there; believe [it] not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

Mark 13:14-22, "But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter [therein], to take any thing out of his house: And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.  For [in] those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.  And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days. And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here [is] Christ; or, lo, [he is] there; believe [him] not:
For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if [it were] possible, even the elect."

As you can see in the verses above, the people in Judaea were told to flee to the mountains and told not stop to take anything with them nor to go back to get anything when they see the abomination of desolation stand in the holy place. There is no time to do anything but escape with only the clothes on their backs.  Why would our Lord Jesus warn the people in Judaea to flee immediately if the abomination of desolation was somewhere else in the world or in the U.S. ?  I think that He told them that because the abomination of desolation will be standing in the holy place in Jerusalem which is in Judaea.

As for building a tribulation temple for the son of perdition to sit in, maybe some fallen angels disguised as Aliens will land on Earth in some UFOs before they are all cast out of heaven and show great signs and wonders so that the temple looks like it is miraculously built in no time at all.  Or maybe they will build a Temple and bring it down from the sky to sit on the Temple Mount.  These are just a few possibilities.  Don't forget also that Daniel 11:45 tells us that "he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him."  Doesn't that tell you that the "little horn" (Antichrist) will be reigning from Jerusalem?
