"Prayer request"

I realized my need for our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ in early 1985, and
was baptized shortly thereafter. I have been amazed at the cohesiveness of
God's Word in the Bible, how the Old and New Testament relate so much to
each other, and agree that the Holy Spirit spoke through the authors to
write, and that the Bible is the infallible Word of God.

Although there have been times when I have slipped, I know that repentance
and turning away from sin is God's will for my life.

I became interested in end-times prophecy, and have been following events
which I believe are bringing us closer and closer to being reunited with
Jesus in the air. I read from Hal Lindsey and many others.

I started reading about the upcoming Rapture reports on home.flash.net
starting in mid-2008- pointing toward Rosh Hashanah that September. Each
time when a date passed, there would be a new date or set of dates, with
very convincing rationales. Disappointing, yes- but that has not deterred
me from looking up for my redemption. I have been reading the Doves
Letters daily for the last two months- and have felt more than ever lately
that with Pastor Riley's computation of days before the 120th Great
Jubilee in September 2017- and the parallel of Noah being saved from the
flood in the month of Cheshvan as a foretelling of the Rapture. I have not
read much about visions or dreams, and do not understand gematria. Now
there are questions about whether calendars have been incorrect- and also
interpretation of the three woes of Revelation lasting longer than the
seven-year Great Tribulation (by Jovial). There have been dates of
11/11/10 or later suggested as well.

I have not been taken seriously from fellow workers and family members
because of dates going by in the past, when I tried to warn about being
seriously ready for the Day of the Lord. Like the boy who cried "Wolf" too
many times. Some actually have said that they think that I have a "death
wish". I do not- I just long for the Lord- and I realize that in His Word,
it says that the Lord is not slack concerning His promise...2 Peter 3:9.
Please pray that the Holy Spirit will give me and fellow watchmen the
words to get His message through!

Thank you. Yours in Christ,

Dennis Gaylor
