I hesitate to share this as this has never happened before, but in prayer a few weeks ago crying out to God over a lot of painful personal matters, I felt like I got a 'word' for the Church. i.e. God's House, His family of true believers in the earth. I wasn't seeking any such word.

This was prior to John Tng's post about the Rapture Door being Shut.

the word was very simple :

"Get in your house and shut the door!".

there's only one reason the Lord says this in a Biblical context, and it is always to protect His people from coming danger.

as with Rahab and her household, Israel and the death of the firstborn in Egypt, Noah and his family in the Ark.

I reference this verse:

Hebrews 11:7
"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith."
