I am SO longing for the sound of the trumpet, calling us home- and I have always thought a Christmas homecoming would be the most beautiful thing!
 
In fact, one of my FAVORITE Christmas songs is by Cynthia Clawson- "Take Us Home For Christmas".  Last year, I made my first attempt at a video, and this is it-

As a child, my family would play this song all the time during Christmas. One Christmas, my aunt called the local radio station and dedicated it to me. I've got a casette tape recording of it.
 
As we approach the Christmas holidays, I will be praying the same thing I pray every Christmas- Why don't You come and take us home for Christmas?
