"Re: Mary Brown - "What you scatter......................""
Mary-
I have received many of these heartwarming stories by email over the years, but I do not recall every having read this one.
Thank you for sharing this! This one is priceless!
I
believe it is truly the things that we do with true kindness from our
heart that make a difference in the lives of others. I believe this is
truly how they see Christ in us. It's not something contrived,
something we "force" ourselves to do. Oh yes, there are times I've had
to "force" myself to "do the right thing". In fact, just a few nights
ago we went to dinner with friends, and the lady behind me very rudely
shoved my chair back as I stood up. Thankfully I had cleared the chair
before this happened- but I found it odd that a chair could bother her
so much when it was not even touching her. In this situation, I had to
truly pray that God would help me to "do the right thing", not say
anything to her, etc.
I believe times like these are
different than the things we do when it is just an overwhelming desire
to do what is right and impact others lives in a positive way.
God bless you, Mary, for sharing this story.
In Christ,
Cindi
