(I am finding researching end-time prophecies very interesting and relevant as well as motivating to hang in here just a little while longer.)

Regarding Jonah:

The Lord knew also that we would feel like Jonah, mad, anxious, scared even wishing to die as he did and perhaps this is why the Lord used him as an example we could all possibly relate to.  I see that it is a shadow of many things, as mentioned in some of the letters responding to the Jonah's question and what I could relate to was of course the 3 days and nights Jonah spent in the deep ocean, he does relate his experience as being engulfed by the waters, some said he even died, I could see why they say that (Jonah 2:3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.) ...

... The stomach fluids of the fish could have passed for oceans waters while he was inside the fish...but we also see the resurrection, the "born again" literally physically and spiritually, Jonah got baptized I think.  <smile> <<there's a shadow for baptism..yeah??)

When Jonah gets mad and even want to die is like what I feel sometimes, I so wished it would end now...seriously, only through the grace of Our Lord I tell you!!!   But it could be the "other" signs we needed all in one in Jonah's testimony...

Sacrifice: Jonah offers himself, so does Jesus. 
Redemption: Jonah fully pays for his sins, Jesus fully payed for all of ours. 
Protection: Jonah is protected by God, so are we, thanks to Jesus, His Son, Our Savior. 

Don't despair my brothers and sisters, no matter how hard it seems, it's right there in the Bible, all you have to do is believe Him, He showed you that He will provide safety for you, in this world, right now, rejoice and marvel at His wonders and that will make you smile and give you hope.

Anyways, do you see another message the Lord is giving us, after all this is called the living Word right?? So though it stays the same, the Word of God is forever teaching new things, forever...wow....I love My Lord Jesus.
