"New Moon Report, dead in Christ & halloween"

…just wanted to mention that I had some correspondence w/ a fellow dove, Randy and he had noticed the new moon was not sighted.  This would make Oct 31st Hallow’s eve the new moon (Karite report reference below).

Karaite Korner Newsletter #356:  New Moon Report/ October 30, 2008/ Eighth Biblical Month

On Thursday October 30, 2008 observers across Israel looked for the
moon but it was not sighted. There were cloudy conditions throughout
the Land, although new moon visibility was uncertain even under ideal
weather conditions. The new moon should be easily visible from Israel
tomorrow night (Friday Oct 31, 2008) making Friday night the beginning
of New Moon day.

Of course there is the passage referring to “the dead in Christ will rise first…” I think Halloween is a mocking of this verse.  Maybe you remember a movie that came out a few years ago called “Corpse Bride” – an obvious mockery by Satan against God’s plan.  On November 1st is All Saints Day and November 2nd is All Soul’s Day.  Here is a Wikipedia definition:

All Saints' Day (also called All Hallows or Hallowmas[1]), often shortened to All Saints, is a feast celebrated on November 1 in Western Christianity, and on the first Sunday after Pentecost in Eastern Christianity in honour of all the saints, known and unknown.

The new moon is “full of darkness” a stark contrast to the full moon.  Here are a couple of scriptures:

Luke 11:34

“The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

Here is just a little insight from the numbers here:

Greek gematria for “full of light” = 1935

Greek gematria for “full of darkness” = 925

Ref:  http://www.biblewheel.com/GR/GR_Database.asp?bnum=42&cnum=11&vnum=34

1935 – 925 = 1010

Gematria for 1010 is:  According to the Order of Melchizedek, Pillars, Noah walked w/ God, All these commandments, The Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai & Musician

Ephesians 5

8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light

9(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)

Consider again the two major phases of the moon:  Full moon (light) vs. New Moon (dark).  The moon at this point has many blemishes.  New Moon (dark) hides these blemishes.  Full moon brings them to light and reveals them to the Sun (Son).  In doing so the moon (bride) is able to put on her “white wedding gown”.

10and find out what pleases the Lord.

11Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

12For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.

A full moon exposes deeds in the darkness, a dark moon hides them.  Judaism and legalism within Christianity is a flawed system of which blemishes must be hidden because no one is perfect. What do we need?  The Son or Sun if you will.  When we expose our blemishes or sins then Jesus can “shine” on us and we become a bright “city on a hill”.

13But everything exposed by the light becomes visible,

14for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said:

          "Wake up, O sleeper,

rise from the dead,

and Christ will shine on you."

Full Moon (the “sleeper” is the moon and it rises so that Christ the Son (Sun) may shine on the Bride (Full Moon) and also an allusion to the “dead in Christ” rising.  When we are dark and hidden we are dead in our sins, but when we “rise” to reveal our imperfections, the light of the “Son” shines on us.

…these scriptures and passages are taken from my book “Midnight Shout!” which you can read online free at www.midnightshout.com There you will find lots more information on dark & light moon and what the Bride and Rapture have to do w/ the moon.

Blessings,
