Goodness, brother Samson!  I will add you to my Prayers for Illness page in the morning as an URGENT request.  You are correct in that we all pay for our past in this human body of ours, even though we are forgiven.  Lord knows, my Richard has sure gone through a ton of things physically, as have I, and we know that it is a result of our misuse of the Holy Spirit’s temple (aka, Richard being a past heavy drug user, heavy drinker, heavy smoker; and me being a past heavy drinker and smoker for 30 years and 35 years, respectively).  Your body begins to wear down like a clock winding down.  But once we have paid for our sins, we are all the stronger for His discipline and our faith becomes all that much stronger as He helps us overcome each of these disciplines.  Hang in there, sweet man… we’ll be leaving these old bodies SOON!
