Revelation 4:1 says, "After these things, I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven.  And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, 'COME UP HERE, and I will show you things which must take place after this."  And John was shown the unreeling of the next seven years, during which the Lord will deal with the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.  His totally different purpose for the Church  will have been completed.
     Revelation 18:4 says, "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, 'COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, LEST YOU SHARE IN HER SINS, AND LEST YOU RECEIVE OF HER PLAGUES..."  And immediately following is a description of what is probably a nuclear holocaust and its aftermath.
      The period of time during which my family lived at Ft. Carson/Colorado Springs, Colorado, was a time, for me, of many prophetic dreams, visions, and Words from the Lord.  The one brought back to me, just now, by the message from Paul Wilson is this:  Our back yard, there where we lived almost at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain, stretched far into the distance, just beautiful sparse land which turned golden at certain times of the year.  
     I went, late one afternoon, outside our military quarters and looked off into the distance, off to the left, to look for my son and daughter who sometimes walked back that way, from the PX/commissary.  Then as I looked for them, and saw them just coming into view, but still very far away, a sudden sense of anxiety and urgency came over me.  The beautiful high golden grass was fading, as the sky began to take on a purplish/gray cast.  The anxiety grew, and I began to hear a noise, as if of an approaching plane.  
     I looked upward, toward the right, and a plane was approaching, and was flying incredibly low.  I felt something so ominous, and I turned back toward my son and daughter and began to yell, "Hurry, Hurry!  Run! Run! Run!"  I felt desperate that they should get home before the plane could be overhead.  And as can happen only in such a way, they did arrive there beside me just as the plane came directly overhead.  
     We looked up and saw that the plane was marked with Russian markings.  As we watched, directly overhead, the bomb-hatch doors on the underside of the plane opened, and we saw, as if in slow motion, the actual mechanism holding, then releasing, a bomb.  We saw the bomb become free and begin its descent, but in that nano-second, WE WERE TAKEN BY THE LORD BEFORE THE BOMB HIT THE GROUND.
     Concerning being shown this by the Lord (and as is the way of many prophetic dreams, it ran in identically perfect detail two nights in a row, just as a movie being replayed), I did not understand how this could happen, as at the time, our country was at peace with Russia, with all our nuclear missiles supposedly taken "off-target" on both sides.  And I "reasoned" that surely, because of the "mighty" American air defense systems, Russia could not have penetrated our air space.  (NORAD - North American/Canadian Air Defense Command is headquartered deep in the earth, inside "our" Cheyenne Mountain.)
     But things, politically, have changed back again, and things I didn't understand then, have become "sight."  And yes, God is going to fulfill, literally to the letter, Jesus' saying it will be as in the days of Lot, and when He has removed us out of harms' way, then awful judgments will fall.  "For He still knows how to make a difference between those who love and serve him, and those who do not."
 
     "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, LEST YOU SHARE IN HER SINS, AND LEST YOU RECEIVE OF HER PLAGUES.  For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.  Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works.  In the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.
     In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow.  For she says in her heart, 'I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.'  Therefore, her plagues will come in one day - death and mourning and famine.  And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her."  Revelation 18:4-8
