Dear Doves,

Concerning the transfiguration on the mount, " my understanding" of  
this scriptural event may defer from many and then again who knows?

In SIX DAYS God created  Heaven and Earth and everything therein. On  
the SIXTH Day God created MAN in His Own Image and Likeness. [keep in  
mind that this was before the fall of humanity]
Have you ever wondered  how Man then looked? Or how his being was?

Jesus took Peter, James and John. 1, 2, 3 disciples plus Jesus = 4
There appeared Elijah and Moses. 5, 6
But there came the seventh in a cloud, with a voice saying: "This is  
My Beloved... Son. HEAR HIM!!"

So there on the high mountain were seven persons!

On the Seventh Day, The Lords' Holy Sabbath, God rested!

Be certain that the transfiguration pictures the redeemed  and the  
Holy Sons of God.
