Add in Comet 17P Holmes, which exploded on 10/23/2007.  Add 1 biblical year (360 days inclusive) and you get 10/16/2008, which is in the middle of Sukkot.

But, we should be careful, apparently the New Age world wants us to believe it's really the "Federation of Light" that appears on 10/14 for 3 days.  Not sure, but who ever shows up, just pray for discernment, because our salvation grows nigh...
