You seem to be setting yourself up
for disappointment. Please note that just b/c the rapture does not happen when
WE hope or even expect it to ~ does not mean that it goes from PRE-trib to EARLY
trib rapture!!
The rapture is and was (and
REMAINS TO BE! .... smile!) PRE-TRIB!!!
The Lord promises He will come out
of His place to PUNISH **ALL** the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity
during the tribulation. Do you think He's going to punish us & then turn
around & marry us? That would be an ABUSIVE husband who did such a
thing!! Beat up the bride before the wedding! Whew nellie ~ some kind of
*wedding* that would be!! ~ when the Groom started beating the bride before they
were even married!!
Now, that being said, I have been
watching for a long time myself. I've always known the rapture would happen in
my life time ~ ever since I was a young.... a VERY young child!! And I think
everything is good to go -- and we could be right on the money for an October
rapture!! I'm hoping for early October myself ~ but I will not go out on a
limb & start tossing out dates .... look at how that's gotten so many in
trouble over the years.
There are so many different
scenarios that could play out.
Growing up in somewhat of a
wholesome way, I never ever EVER dreamed I'd see the day when Americans by &
large wish for a MUSLIM to be in the Whitehouse!! Ohhh ~ they so "do not
know" what they ask for!! I pray daily that the Lord will some how PREVENT
this from happening while we are still here. And since the peace agreement to
divide up Israel's land is so good to go, then I think ~ I hope ~ yes, that we
will be raptured soon. How we hope & pray it is this month!
Oh, BTW, just for the record, I
think when searching out the Scripture in Jeremiah 8 that you are referring to ~
it is speaking about Jews. [because we ARE saved!] So therefore, this
particular Scripture does not even apply to us, but rather tells us of their
predicament.
