The editor of End Time Magazine, Irvin Baxter, was with Rabbi Chaim in
Israel leading a tour group.  The Rabbi is one of the Sanhedrin.  When
asked about the red heifer the Rabbi said "Actually we now have a red
heifer....this is the first red heifer we've had since the Second Temple
era that ended in 70 AD."  He said that the location of the red heifer
was being kept secret because of the huge frenzy that was unleached a
few years ago when it was disclosed that religious leaders thought they
