"Prayer Request"

Please pray the following family,  and ask if there is anyone in your churches who may be willing to provide a little support for these folks during this time......God Bless

Gwen (age 55-57 years old)  had a heart transplant 8 or so years ago,  and has developed other problems since then,  like diabetes and kidney issues. In recent months,  she developed some major memory / thinking issues, and after weeks in the hospital - Chapel Hill finally confimed that all of the anti-rejection medication for so long had caused major issues in her brain - they said most all of the blood vessels in her head are in terrible, terrible condition and have so many blood clots so that there is very little oxygen going to her brain.  There is no nursing facility that will take her because she is on so much medication,  so she was sent home, but she cannot be left alone for a moment because of her mental compromise. Her husband (Joseph )is trying to continue to work.  Because the doctor in charge discharged her with 6 to 12 months to live,   Hospice has not been willing to help ( they come in when the patient has been given 6 mos.  or less to live ).

I spoke with one of the daughters last night , asking what I could do to help or do,  she said a great help would be to help provide a meal a day from time to time, to give her dad's sister a break who has been trying to help keep at least a meal a day going for them and help stay with Gwen some as well .

Currently one daughter and a friend of the family,  and the husband's sister are helping with the sitting during the week and the other daughter who lives in Garner is helping with the week-end sitting.

Please keep these in your prayers and if you know people in your church or other churches  who would like to help sponser a meal a day or offer any assistance - Please let me know and I will provide directions and any other details. This family is exhausted and broke mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually and need the family of the Most High for support.

God Bless You All,
