The wildfires in California seem to have been at their worst yesterday which was Monday, 10/22/2007.
 
On this link it was described as the perfect (fire) storm.

6 yrs 1 month 11 days = 6111.

Almost exactly 2 months ago we had the wildfires in Greece getting the headlines.
