I know exactly what you mean, Melodie, but the way we Christians are singled out for attack is just one more way we have of knowing that Yahshua’s return is VERY near!  He said that the closer His return comes, the more it would be this way:

 

"If the world hates you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." -John 15:18,19

 

Remember how they jeered and hawked at Noah while he built the ark for 120 years?  They were relentless, and laughed at him and poked fun at him, because they’d never even HEARD of rain up to that point, because mist came up out of the ground and kept things moist and watered (sounds like Houston to me! <<grins>>).  So when the rains began, they didn’t know what in the heck was going on until they were killed by the flood waters.  And look at Lot in the filthy city he lived in, and the rot that went on there.  And they were furious with him when he refused to send the two angels out to them so they could have sex with them since they were handsome to look upon.  They threatened to beat him to death if he didn’t let them in!  And look at Stephen… he was stoned for being a Christian in a “no Christian” zone!  Try not to let it get you down… Yahshua’s return is near!
