Richard & I are Messianics, too, but we don’t get to go to services, because the closest one is as far as I have to drive to work each day… 1.5 hours away!  They believe that we will be protected probably in Petra, which is in present day Jordan.  Myself, I think we’ll be taken off the earth, whether it be to Heaven or to the New Jerusalem, which I honestly don’t believe is located in Heaven… I think it’s merely located on another plane of existence.  I don’t know this for sure, since we really aren’t told where it’s located, so this is merely conjecture on my part.  Anyway, I think that’s where His Father’s house with it’s many mansions is located.  Richard, on the other hand, believes we will remain on earth during the Trib, but taken to a place of safety, just like with Noah and with Lot and their families.  As he says, they weren’t removed from the earth, but they were taken to a place of safety and protected by the Most High throughout the judgments. So maybe he’s right, I don’t know.  As long as I can be with Him, I don’t really care.
