Amen & amen, sister Dawn!!! I’m almost 55, so I am well familiar with what you said in this posting! How very different things were back then! I didn’t even know what sex WAS until I married my first husband at 18, because for one thing, my Mom (who’s now 82) didn’t discuss the subject, and for another, I was adopted at 2 weeks old, and raised an only child in a strict, Southern Baptist home. My Mom took me to get on birth control pills a few weeks before my first marriage, and I never thought to NEED them before then. When I was a teenager, you had the “good” girls and the “bad” girl (those who “put out”), and there was really no in-between. And if they got pregnant before marriage, they were ostracized, which is one of the primary reasons they would quit school if they did. I also knew nothing about drugs. I used to walk a busy street at night with my best friend so we could talk in privacy, and no one messed with us or gave us a hard time. ALL movies growing up were clean movies if they were shown on TV. And if there was nudity in a movie, the movie was rated “R” or “X”. Now EVERYTHING is shown, and it’s rated “PG13”… what up with THAT??? And you can’t say the name of Jesus in movies, but it’s OK to say SOB or the “F” word, etc. It is one screwed up world, and I’m with you… I can’t WAIT for the Rapture!!! Then we will ALL believe the same! HalleluYAH!!!
Your sister in Yahshua!
