"TO Frank Molver - "re. no
one has been to hell and come back""
Hi, Frank!
Regarding the last paragraph of your Saturday 5 Doves
posting:
Please do not be decieved yourself.
There are many Christians today that God has allowed to experience either
heaven or hell. I am not saying that this person is accurate but I am saying
that yes many of us have experienced hell.
I couldn't agree with you more! I have a 27-year-old
Christian son, Chris, who is big-time legalistic. He believes that
the "sign" Gifts were done away with along with the acceptance of the canon
of the church... NONSENSE!!! We were just arguing about that on my
way home from work yesterday! I told him, "God NEVER changes, and
if He gave those Gifts of the Spirit to people back then, He STILL does!
I know better! I told him that he was quenching the Holy Spirit by
that kind of thinking! The Lord certainly isn't going to FORCE His
children to accept His touches and tongues, etc., so if you don't believe
it still happens, you're not going to see it happen to you! God chooses
who to show His mercy and compassion to." He is STILL not convinced...
what a shame! He is the one I wrote my poem "God In a Box" for!

And then I told him of the time when his sister was 7,
and the Lord healed me of a 2-week bout with laryngitis (I couldn't speak
above a whisper), by having His Spirit enter my fingertips, going up over
my left arm, and stopping over my throat, until the lady on the phone finished
her prayer for my healing and said "amen", at which time I began speaking
in my normal voice! I told him, "If you don't believe me, ask Shelly...
I'll bet she still remembers, because she was the one who made me realize
I was suddenly speaking in my normal voice!" He still doesn't believe
me, nor does he believe that I feel the touch of the Spirit all the time...
oh well, his loss, not mine!
Your sister in Yahshua!
