That’s also how I’ve been, sister Dawn! I seem to forget the simplest of things… I forget to turn off lights and close doors and turn off the coffeemaker, I forget to bring my lunch to work, I forget to call those I’m supposed to call… and the list goes on and on. I’m probably driving Richard insane, because he is a “rememberer” from the word GO! <<smiles>> You probably did the right thing quitting your new job. There are times I feel like doing the same thing, mainly due to the long distance it is from home, and my precious boss’s penchant for putting things off until the last minute, knowing I will get it done, and thinking that my typing 135 wpm is “normal”. They are SO used to me keeping the office running smoothly, that it becomes “expected” sometimes, like it does for other relationships we have in this life. And eventually we become dog-tired! But it is a wonderful group of loving people who are like family to me, and we need the insurance for Richard mainly, due to his many past conditions (mostly heart related), so I plug on. I know, however, that when I get to the other side, I will forever have rest and relaxation, and I am most grateful for the work the Lord has lovingly supplied me with. And I am definitely with you on wanting to be with Him SO badly that the things of this life hold no desire for me! And dear sister, I ALWAYS have time to pray for my brothers and sisters… never feel afraid to ask me for prayer!
Love from your sister in Yahshua!
Peggy
