Secondly Christ could have been refering to His disciples at that particular time because the end had not yet arrived so the TIMES or DATES could not be revealed to them by the Father BUT now in this generation  and in this year 2007 Children  of God can be shown the times or dates.

 

I think you are correct with the above interpretation of that Scripture.  Certain things remain a mystery until the time is right for it to be understood.  As the Word tells us:

 

As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, "My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?"  He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.  "Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. --Daniel 12:8-10

 

The Lord always reveals His prophecies to chosen ones of His prophets. 

 

For Elohim does no matter unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)

 

Since He never changes, and has always revealed His prophecies to some in the past (i.e., Noah – 7-day warning, Lot – over night warning, and several before Enoch’s and Elijah’s Rapture), I’ve absolutely no doubt He will do the same before the Rapture of His Church.
