Over the past l4 years I have studied scripture and prophecy.  I have
heard various theories as to who Gog is, and Magog.  I believe it is
nearly impossible to identify Gog at this time.  When I read that Putin
might be Gog, it sounds right, but there are many other candidates, and
we can't know yet, as far as I can see.

Many of us are definitely descendants of Gog.  That's right, WE are
descendants of Gog.  I am one-fourth Scottish and one-fourth Irish, and
it is absolutely certain that my Scottish line descended from Gog.
They kept minute records of this descent for thousands of years.

How do I know this?  Well, start with the Treaty of Abroath, which was
sent in the late Middle Ages to the Pope by the assembled ruling
families of Scotland.  The purpose of the missive to the Pope was to
urge him to favor them over the English, who were continually fighting
with them.  In this letter, they stated that they had come from a
certain region in the Caucasus, passed through the Holy Land and Egypt
in generations of migration, hoped for their "promised land" in
Ireland, sojourned in Spain for 400 years, and finally made it to the
Holy Isle, from where they sent migrations to Scotland.  During this
time, they refrained from "mixing" with locals who were unworthy of
their noble line.  It does not say they did not interbreed at all, just
did not abandon their culture by marrying the unworthy.  I am
paraphrasing.

The families involved are listed.  Mine is represented by Eustace
Maxwell.  My own family line forfeited many of their rights, due to the
English, because they supported the Stuarts; thus their cousins the
Maxwells, with whom they were so inbred that they were virtually one
family, "spoke for them" at Abroath.

My point is not to prove that I am Gog (or my line) but that many many
many of us have Gogi blood.  Gog is us!

Some notable descendants of Gog, i.e., Prince Charles and others, have
been pointed out as possibly or definitely the antichrist.

But some middle eastern pundits believe the antichrist will be
descended from a person still in the middle east, a person descended
from Gog who lives in Syria or what was once Assyria.

Most or all of U.S. presidents descended from the Scottish descendants
of Gog.  One of my cousins was President James K. Polk--a distant
cousin, of course, but descended on the same Scottish line.  George
Bush is descended similarly, and as just announced by Lynn Cheney, even
Barack Obama is descended matrilinially from this line.  She says that
Barack and her husband are cousins, and she is right.  I have seen the
line of descent.

But seeing that the concept of Gog is irrelevant is still relevant if
we look at what is Magog.  What is the nation or nations that now form
Magog, from which the Biblical "Gog" will emerge as leader?  Now that
is the question.  Which of our cousins becomes THE Gog?
