"Paul N.F.: on Revelation 3:8-11"

Of all the passages in Scripture promising our release before the hour
of trial, this one strikes me as the clearest.
Thanks for the reminder.

Yet even individuals in churches NOT in Philadelphia can be saved.
Witness the words, also in Rev. 3, concerning Sardis, the dead church:

"You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their
garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.

"He who overcomes  shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not
blot out his name from the Book of Life,
but I will confess his name before the Father and before the angels."

Rev. 3: 4-5

Those of us who have no real "church home", but have tried various
churches and found them wanting, even when we tried to be humble; and
those of us who remain within an almost dead church, patiently
upholding that which is alive within it; and those located far from a
good church; for us are the words of Rev. 3: 4-5.
