"Prayer request for our water supply"

As I’m sure you all have heard recently in the news the southeastern states are in a severe drought. I live in Georgia and we have had only half of our annual rainfall this year. Our situation here is becoming dire as both of our lakes that supply us our water are 15 feet or more below the average levels. It’s being reported not only on our local news but now also on Fox news, The Weather Channel, etc that if we continue over the winter and spring seasons without a good supply of rain that in 2008 our drinking water will be in jeopardy and we’ll be facing a humanitarian crisis! This is extremely disturbing to me since all of my family resides in Georgia. I do know that these things are coming on the earth as God begins to judge the world and that in the end times perilous times shall come but I also believe that we as his children can pray for his mercies. I’m asking all of you to please pray for us here in the southeast that God will send us life sustaining rain and hold back his wrath upon us.
