I pray your daughter is recovering from her surgery without complications.
 
I am so sorry to hear about your difficulty with your former neighbor.  Unfortunately there are many folks like that.  It makes it difficult for the rest of us to sometimes be compassionate and helpful.  We have experienced that at least twice that I can recollect.  Sometimes it is a family member who feels guilty because he/she did not provide the care we were providing and other times it is the recipient of the good will.  Either way it is disconcerting and hurtful to us.
