Dear Doves,

 

Sunday monring about 4am my husband woke me to go outside and look towards the eastern sky.  He said there was an amazing "star" I just had to see.  Sure enough, on that crystal clear morning before the dawn, there was the brightest, most glorious star I have ever seen.  It had a pulsating light that appeared to form an almost cross shape.  Truly, truly it looked like the "star" the wise men would have followed to Bethlehem.  I was later told it was Venus, and appears on the eastern horizon during October.  But the most exhilirating thing is this which we found on an astronomy website: 

 

"Venus can be seen in the east-northeastern sky before dawn in the constellation Leo (the Lion). Venus is located east of Regulus (the Heart of the Lion), moving farther east toward Virgo (the Maiden). Venus rises earlier every night and appears higher in the sky before dawn. Venus reaches its highest point in the eastern sky on October 28th. Venus will be the “Morning Star” through the end of the year. Venus looks like a very bright white star." (www.mcpstars.org)

 

Jesus said in Revelation 22:16 "I am the Root and Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."  Was our precious Lord giving us a "heads up" as to when we could expect Him?  I don't know for sure, but I can tell you all it is worth your time to go outside this month and look east.  You never know, maybe you'll see the sky part and hear the Lord say "COME UP HERE!!!!"   

 

Keep looking up and keep watching, He is coming back!  Jump for joy and give a shout of praise, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Bright and Morning Star will arise and we will arise and meet Him in the air!!
