"TO LAUREN, LOTS OF QUESTIONS. . ."

Lauren,

Although your posts of late are intriguing concerning the anti-christ, they are quite questionable. Also surely if what you are saying is true, who else concurs? Where are the other confirmations among the brethren in Christ? I would say almost everyone on this board are diligent seekers of our Lord and students of eschatology. Certainly not all blindly follow prophecy teachers but many do dig  to know the truth, through the leading of the Holy Spirit of course.

Who also has come to your conclusions? For this needs to be confirmed by others. . .

Also I have some questions. . .

If the anti-christ has indeed been revealed who was “the restrainer” that was taken out of the way that allowed this revealing 2 THES 2:5-10? Many believe the restrainer is  Christ’ bride the salt and light of the earth, she is indeed still here.

Who’s the false prophet?

Also who are the two witnesses that were are supposed to prophesy 1260 days in Jerusalem?

Also if all of the judgments spoken of in the book of Revelation happen between now and Oct. 9, 2008 what of the earth will be left for the anti-christ to rule? From my own study, there won’t be much left.

You made a lot of strong statements below, and I quote. . .

“IT IS A ‘STRONG DELUSION

Those who are LOOKING FOR A ‘RAPTURE’ and another SEVEN YEARS will become disarrayed and distressed, IF THEY DIDN’T RECOGNIZE the antichrist at HIS REVEALING on October 12th and will not be prepared when the ‘Day of the Lord' comes fulfilling Jeremiah 50:31-32 with the ‘sudden destruction’ in the US on its cities and leader!

Lauren, I am positive many on this board walk circumspectly with an open mind when it comes to prophecy. Not all are so dogmatic about coming end time events—I doubt seriously that people on this board will be “disarrayed or distressed” or totally confused for they will definitely know something is up if destruction begins in our country. . .

even if they doubt Al Gore is the anti-christ, which I am sure he is anti-christ but I’m not sure he fits the bill for the “man of sin”; and to only go on what you have posted on this board is not wise; however, I will, as I’m sure others will, seek our Lord to find out for ourselves. I’m very confident the Lord will reveal the truth to His people that love Him and there will be no question in time.

It will be THOSE WHO REJECT AND REPENT and turn away from THIS LIE that will even have a chance of GETTING INTO THE WILDERNESS.

Now this is a really strong statement, if our escape is based on our knowledge of who the “man of sin” is and our knowledge of end time events then there are lots of folks in trouble! I definitely need scripture for this.

I’m pretty sure our escape is based on whether or not we have been truly born again into Christ, surely it won’t be based on our knowledge of end time events!?!???

Those who don’t will be tested because they didn’t recognize the antichrist and will become PRIMED TO BE SHEARED AND TAKE THE ‘MARK’ at the ‘fifth’ seal or become martyrs.

. . .we will be tested because we didn’t recognize the anti-christ? Hmmm where’s the scripture for this? “primed to be sheared and take the mark” As stated before, true followers of Jesus Christ will know something is up if this indeed happens, I don’t think you should assume every believer is a completely blinded. A true follower of Jesus Christ is prompted by the Holy Spirit and guided by Him alone. For the just shall walk by faith and not by sight.

The prophecy ‘gurus’ have made the ‘seventy weeks’ timeline their cornerstone, DENYING THAT IT WAS YESHUA who fulfilled those ‘six attributes’ in Daniel 9:24-26 and ASSIGNED THEM TO THE ANTICHRIST. Who now has already been revealed!

This overpowering 'deluding influence'
has so blinded the masses that they have become willingly ignorant, “scoffers walking after their own lusts" II Peter 3:3 and 5.

Lauren, what true believer has become “willingly ignorant”? And since when did a lack of knowledge about an end time event become justification to call a person a “scoffer walking after their own lust”, I don’t see the connection.

I trust God to reveal the truth to me and to His people--whether or not your statements are true concerning the anti-christ remains to be seen and I certainly don’t believe our knowledge of who the “man of sin” is determines whether or not we will escape the wrath of God. This type of statement does not line up with scripture.

Our Lord has not appointed His people unto wrath but to escape it regardless of whether or not we know who the anti-christ is.

Be Blessed,
