Dear Doves:When I read Wayne Philbeck's letter yesterday "Call of the Turtledove" my
heart jumped. Tuesday night at bible study and yesterday during a phone
conversation, I was reminded by some Christian friends of the song I heard
the Lord sing to us, his bride, during a church service in January, 2003.
Immediately after returning home after the service, I wrote down the words
to the song.
Here are the words to the song our bridegroom, Yeshua, sang to us, his bride
(his voice was better than Paul Wilbur's!).....Come away with me, come away with me, can you hear me my beloved come and
worship me! Come away with me, come away with me, come away!I came down to were you are, I came to set you free, so fly to me my little
dove your chains are off of thee! Come away!Though dark clouds stand between us, the Son will burn them off. I'll make
the whole sky clear for you, you soon will be aloft! Come away!I see you down there loving me, now see that I love you. Look into my
burning eyes, believe my words are true! Come away!Have you not heard my love song, my sweet song in the night? If you would
only take my words to heart, I'd make your whole life right! Come away!I smell your sweet fragrance, like flowers on the earth. Come with me my
beautiful one, I'll show you what your worth! Come away!If you asked me for roses, I wouldn't give you thorns. I came and gave my
life for you so you could be reborn! Come away! Come away! Come a-way,
with Me! (end)After, I finished typing out the words, I picked up my bible and randomly
opened it. To my surprise, it was a scriptural confirmation for the song I
had just typed out...."My lover spoke and said to me, Arise my darling, my
beautiful one, and come with me. See! The winter is past; the rains are
over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come,
the cooing of the doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early
fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my
darling; my beautiful one, come with me." (Song 2:10-13)I later asked the Lord why he made roses with thorns when in his song he
said he wouldn't give us roses with them. He replied that the roses would
not have thorns on them because he would take them into his hands before he
give them to us!!!After all this happened, I got an idea. I decided to write a song from the
bride to the bridegroom in response to his beautiful song to us. I asked
the Lord not to listen to it until it was finished. I didn't realize at the
time what kind of wonderful response, we would get from Him.Here are the words to the song I wrote in response to His beautiful song to
us.....I'll come away with you, I'll come away with you -- Can you hear me, my
love, calling you in the night? I'll come away with you, I'll come away
with you, I'll come away!I thought the ground I stood on was nothing but thin ice, I knew I was God's
daughter but forgot I was your wife! I'll come away!My broken heart you're mending, I once thought you didn't care. I know it
was a lie now as my heart soars through the air! I'll come away! You hold in your hand a bottle, filled with all the tears of mine. You've
taken the salt water and turned it into fine wine! I'll come away!I waited for your coming, I knew God's word was true. But now I understand
them, I could always come up to you! I'll come away!Somehow I felt you left me but you said you'd always stay. Now I can see it
clearly, it was me that walked away! I'll come away! You told me I was special, that I sparkled like a jewel. I thought your
words were flattery, now I know you wouldn't fool! I'll come away!My eyes became so blinded, that I really couldn't see. You were always up
there waiting and you really do love me! I'll come away! Now as I look into your burning eyes, they seem to be a mirror. I see in
them my reflection and your love casts out my fear! I'll come away!I thought I was just a grain of sand among a billion on a shore. But what I
see is a cultured pearl because you've opened my heart's door! I'll come
away!I once felt great confusion, my thoughts could not unwind. You've lifted
off the veil now and you've calmed my troubled mind!
I'll come away!I asked that I would know your love, I kept looking for a sign. Now I see
one clearly -- It says, "I'm yours and you are mine!" I'll come away! I'll
come away! I'll come a-way, with You!!!!! (end)The Lord prompted me to sing the two songs at the next church service. I
was very nervous because I am a shy person and don't like to sing or speak
in public unless he asks me to.After the service, a man came up to me very excited and said that after I
sang the songs the Lord Yeshua appeared in front of the church. The
following is his description of what he saw and heard the Lord say to us in
response to our song to him (He must have had his ears closed until the song
to him was finished and sung to him at the service!). (This description is
truly remarkable since this man is a very simple, rough looking, handy man
who attended our inner-city church.)His throne was white gold. He had fiery diamond eyes. He was focused on his
bride and was pleased with us and had such love for us. He paid personal
attention to each of us. It was normal. This world is not reality -- He is
reality .... There was no doubt that He was Royalty. He seemed to be less
than 6 feet tall. He was not muscular but lean in build (stature) yet there
was no doubt of His strength and power. His lineage was that of eternal,
yet of covenant to man through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, etc... He was
definitely Jewish. His hair was the blackness of shining coal. His skin
was beautiful without blemish and olive in color. The 24 elders were
present (New and Old Testament), Holy Trinity was apparent -- I didn't see
this yet in spirit I knew. The elders were just as we were and we like
they. All were fixed (in presence and heart) on Jesus. We were all like
Him and He like us. We were His and He was ours -- as Husband and Wife.
There was a "Oneness" yet we were all unique individuals (the Bride). He
was (impeccable) pure, his love was without end, His mercy without end.
(There are not words in human language to describe these things). Perfect
peace, love, confident power, strength, mercy -- yet Jesus was overcome
(enamored) with His Church -- His longed for beautiful bride (speechless) as
to say "I have waited so long" (said quietly) -- yet he said not a word.
His beautiful bride sat quiet with tears of joy (Our Father, His Son Jesus,
His Spirit and All His Creation IS pleased!) --- Come Lord, Husband Jesus!!!
(end)As we wait patiently in joyful hope for the coming of our Lord, Savior, and
Husband let us not forget His great love for us, his future Bride, and keep
our eyes fixed and focused on him as "He will make the sky clear for us and
we will SOON BE ALOFT".Maranatha, Your Sister in Yeshua,
