Jeff Lewis was in Israel on a missions trip and while he was gone this past Tuesday his wife, Lisa went to the dentist and took her two sons with her. After she finished with her appointment it was raining and she asked her 17-year-old son to pull the car up close to the front of the dental office. Her 12-year-old son went with him. Lisa looked up a saw that it was not the 17-year-old, but the 12-year-old behind the wheel. She waived her hands, motioning for him to stop but instead of hitting the brake, he hit the accelerator and struck his mom and two other people standing in front of the dental office. Lisa was killed and the two other people seriously injured, but not with life-threatening injuries.
 
Jeff will certainly need our prayers as he rushes home from Israel. The whole family will as well, but particularly the two sons that were directly involved in this tragedy.
