"All bible verse chapter 11:8"

I thought I would try this out.  I took out the Book, chapter and verse and renumbered them 1 – 32 so that it reads clear.  At the end I put it as it’s found in the Bible. What does it say to you?  I figure if I’ve made any mistakes someone will let me know (joking)…

Studies of Bible thread 11:8

 1 So the LORD scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.

2 All these officials of yours will come to me, bowing down before me and saying, 'Go, you and all the people who follow you!' After that I will leave." Then Moses, hot with anger, left Pharaoh.

3 You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.

4 The people went around gathering it, and then ground it in a handmill or crushed it in a mortar. They cooked it in a pot or made it into cakes. And it tasted like something made with olive oil.

 5 Observe therefore all the commands I am giving you today, so that you may have the strength to go in and take over the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess,

6 and the LORD gave them into the hand of Israel. They defeated them and pursued them all the way to Greater Sidon, to Misrephoth Maim, and to the Valley of Mizpah on the east, until no survivors were left.

 7 The elders of Gilead said to him, "Nevertheless, we are turning to you now; come with us to fight the Ammonites, and you will be our head over all who live in Gilead."

8 When Saul mustered them at Bezek, the men of Israel numbered three hundred thousand and the men of Judah thirty thousand.

9 Then David said to Uriah, "Go down to your house and wash your feet." So Uriah left the palace, and a gift from the king was sent after him.

10 He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods.

11 Station yourselves around the king, each man with his weapon in his hand. Anyone who approaches your ranks [a] must be put to death. Stay close to the king wherever he goes."

12 He built up the city around it, from the supporting terraces [a] to the surrounding wall, while Joab restored the rest of the city.

13 Gath, Mareshah, Ziph,

14 and his followers, Gabbai and Sallai—928 men.

 15 They are higher than the heavens—what can you do?
       They are deeper than the depths of the grave [a] —what can you know?

 16 The righteous man is rescued from trouble,
       and it comes on the wicked instead.

 17 However many years a man may live,
       let him enjoy them all.
       But let him remember the days of darkness,
       for they will be many.
       Everything to come is meaningless.

 18 The infant will play near the hole of the cobra,
       and the young child put his hand into the viper's nest.

19 But they did not listen or pay attention; instead, they followed the stubbornness of their evil hearts. So I brought on them all the curses of the covenant I had commanded them to follow but that they did not keep.' "

20 You fear the sword, and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign LORD.

21 He will also seize their gods, their metal images and their valuable articles of silver and gold and carry them off to Egypt. For some years he will leave the king of the North alone.

 22 "How can I give you up, Ephraim?
       How can I hand you over, Israel?
       How can I treat you like Admah?
       How can I make you like Zeboiim?
       My heart is changed within me;
       all my compassion is aroused.

23 If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings' palaces.

24 Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields.

25 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness[a] he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

 26 "But Rabbi," they said, "a short while ago the Jews tried to stone you, and yet you are going back there?"

 27 "I replied, 'Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.'

28 as it is written:
   "God gave them a spirit of stupor,
      eyes so that they could not see
      and ears so that they could not hear,
   to this very day."[

29 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man;

30 I robbed other churches by receiving support from them so as to serve you.

 31 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

32 Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
